Hello, dear friend!
My name is Zhanna Toht and you are very welcome to see here my creations!
I am happy to do that I really like: to paint and do my job with all my heart and love. I enjoy learning and I am happy when something good comes out and I can keep growing spiritually.
I love nature, animals and people. That's why you'll see them most often in my paintings.
I can also help to carry out your ideas if you see I could do this.
I was born on Feb-8th 1985 in Mari-El republic, Morki region, Sinsha village. Since my early childhood I adored drawing and at the age of 10, my parents made decision to send me to the Painting school of Yoshkar-Ola city (the capital of Mari-El republic).
I have been studying at the National Presidential school for talented children for 5 years, after graduating in 2000 and getting diploma with honors, I tried to enter the Kazan Art School, but unfortunately, I did not manage to do it.
I believe that every end is a new beginning, so I came back to Yoshkar-Ola and continued my education at the Republic Pedagogical lyceum, after that, I entered Mary State University as regional studies student and learnt Estonian language. During my years of studying, I was acquainted with my future husband and moved to Estonia in 2007.
When I was pregnant, I re-commenced paining. Thanks to my beloved husband, I started accepting new orders and improve my painting skill. I learnt how to paint with oil and understood, that it’s possible to make the childhood dream real, so I need to start doing what I like most of all.
In 2012, I took painting lessons in watercolor technique of well-experienced watercolor artist Gennadi Lapin from Jõgeva, Estonia. For now, I actively take part in various exhibitions organized by the "Kala" art gallery and others.
In February 2015, I set up my personal company, which is called “Маriztart OÜ”. My hobby turned into favorite job that I am doing with great pleasure. I am using oil and watercolor technics, doing murals of buildings and furniture, paint portraits and aqua-makeup and also creating mat’s cutting.
